Welcome to CANJA Cannabis.
We are a Guelph-grown, family-owned cannabis retail store.
What’s in a name?
The name CANJA is a fun take on ganja and a combination of the following words - cannabis, Canada, and ja - yes! Yes, to cannabis in Canada!
We also found out that ‘canja’ is the name of a Portuguese chicken soup. Just like chicken soup, we want to be warm and comforting. We want all age-appropriate individuals to experience cannabis in a responsible way and, we want everyone to feel welcomed in our store – customers and workers.
How Guelph are we? Our logo says it all. The cannabis leaf indicates what we are all about - cannabis; the two vertical lines represent the Eramosa and Speed rivers that run through Guelph and indicate where we are and who we are; CANJA indicates what we strive to be – Yes - warm and welcoming purveyors of cannabis.
